Overview
The current exhibition at the GOCAT Art Gallery, “Unidentified False Objects (UFO),” is a compelling exploration of transformation, alienation, and reinterpretation in post-communist Albania. Created by Ardian Isufi, the exhibition reimagines iconic symbols of Albania’s past—such as bunkers, industrial remnants, and socialist monuments—into thought-provoking installations. These objects, once tied to ideologies of isolation and utopia, are transformed into metaphors for cultural transition and adaptation in contemporary society.
