Throughout October, global campaigns focused on Down Syndrome awareness have spotlighted the exceptional abilities and achievements of individuals with this condition, underscoring their significant contributions to society. In a remarkable collaboration with the Mane Foundation, Fashion Group Albania and Spar Albania have taken an active role in these initiatives by launching an employment program dedicated to individuals with Down Syndrome.
Building upon the success of employing two young individuals with Down Syndrome at Fashion Group Albania, SPAR Albania, another esteemed member of the BALFIN Group, has extended its commitment. They recently welcomed their first employee from the Down Syndrome community through the ‘I FIT IN’ project, a remarkable endeavor organized by the Jonathan Center in conjunction with the United States Embassy in Tirana.
