Overview

“Mediterranea – The Visions of an Ancient and Complex Sea” is a collaboration between the Mane Foundation and the Italian Institute of Culture, and offers a multi-dimensional journey into the history, beauty, and myths of the Mediterranean. Visitors are treated to a fascinating mix of space images, ancient artworks, and interactive installations.

“Mediterranea” exhibition, which will be open for the public until March 31st at GoCat Gallery, offers a rare opportunity to experience not only the history and mythology of the Mediterranean but also the deep cultural connections that have shaped a shared and rich identity across the region. The exhibition showcases works from space agencies and ancient art, blending them into a cohesive narrative that highlights the unity and heritage of the Mediterranean.

A Mediterranean Tour: From Valencia to Tirana

Before arriving in Tirana, the “Mediterranea” exhibition had already been showcased in Valencia, Spain, and traveled across the Mediterranean. Tirana serves as the final stop before the exhibition returns to Rome.
